“Discover the unique art and culture of the Wirrárika people of Mexico - their color, their love, and their passion brought to life.”
Julio and his father Cesar lead the Menchaca family studio, which is made up of designers, sculptors, and Wirrárikas. Their extraordinary art is created by applying traditional Wirrárika technique and color to sculptures that are created in-house. The studio was formed 5 years ago with the vision to share the colors, love, and passion of Mexico with the rest of the world, shining light on Mexican indigenous communities who wish to contribute their art and culture. In doing so, Julio and Cesar have proudly forged an amazing relationship with the Wirrárika people. At Menchaca Studio, they believe that each project that they participate in shows a piece of Mexican heritage, inspiring many others who wish to share their culture and perspectives with the world.
